Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. We are not an amusement park of entertainment, we are peaceful safe alternative for you to enjoy peace and quiet in a lovely setting. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and safe exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Please do not pick or disturb the fruit and fence lines. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced, off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe, quiet, very private property. Let your dogs bark, we are dog friendly and understand they need to freely play! No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Enjoy staying warm and dry in our raised floor covered warming hut with seating and protection from the weather. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. This property is a walk under the canopy and in the sun. There are deer trails to go on and you will always find the road. Bring your boots during rainy season. Preferred parking is at the lower entrance (Red gate). The trail is 3/4 mile out and back with many off trail options. Christina's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Arlington

Fully fenced, mostly grass(rather dry and crispy during summer) with a wood chip and dirt walking path around the outer edge of the ever-changing yard and a couple garden beds. It's relatively flat and great for fetching! There are neighbor dogs that may occasionally bark next door along with a nearby horse we can hear every once in a while, but other than that, it's pretty quiet. [edit: The neighbor dogs are out more often for summer and they have been a bit barky, so if your dog is reactive, my spot might be better one to visit when Fall gets here and the Dachshunds are back to just being indoors] There are many squirrels and birds that frequent the yard, along with at least one mole that wreaks a bit of havoc on the grass. I'd prefer no digging, but if your dog got a mole, I would probably not be that upset about a hole. We lost one of our dogs last year and our remaining dog seems bored with the yard. I'm hoping making our yard into a Sniffspot will give him some enrichment as well, sniffing all the new dogs who have visited the yard. So far, all the new sniffs have been very exciting for my little rescue gremlin. :)

There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens near the Parking Area. During your visit, feel free to pick wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Cedarbrook Farms Dog Park with Agility Equipment

**our dog walk is currently broken due to tree damage** Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park are now included at no additional fee! Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times on the trails/in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. Enjoy exploring! There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may chain the gate & unleash your doggies right after the bridge. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. As mentioned, there are cabins on the property. Sniffspot is unavailable if the Cabins are booked or vice versa. 22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Hi there , after parking on the outside of the gate to our property please walk through pulling the gate towards you and walk through the first Meadow and follow the signs to the sniff spot area . Please keep your dogs on a leash through the first field while we are working on improving the sniff spot area, if recall is not good. ** This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. Please note that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, right inside the second pasture on the left by the shelter. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. 29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner. People and dogs may be walking on the path outside the fence. We have no control over this. This is a farm, not a park! There are no walking paths, and depending on the time of year, pasture grasses may be very high (especially in spring.) Hay mowing doesn’t usually start until late May. I recommend wearing boots and bringing a towel to wipe your dog’s feet.
