Beautiful large fully fenced ~0.4 acres yard with area for fetch and spots to run through trees and bushes. Lots of dog toys, a chair, poop bags, and water available. Separate entrance from house. ⚠️Chickens are in very secure coop INSIDE the site. If your dog has a high prey drive this might not be the best spot for you! ⚠️
Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k
Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. These things can be scheduled through our website at: www.cedarbrookvet.com, or call or text us at 360-794-9255.
Open running area. Big dogs can easily be separated from small dogs and both can still run. Sun but ample shade if needed. Park like setting.
10 acres of open pasture, pilchuck riverfront and wooded area. pasture is fenced with barbwire and field fencing in areas. There are 10 Scottish Highland cattle on site separated by barbwire fencing. Spot currently available only Monday-Wednesday through October.
NOTE: WEEKEND OF AUGUST 11TH, MY NEIGHBORS ARE HAVING A FAMILY REUNION. THERE ARE LARGE TENTS IN THE YARD. THERE WILL BE LOTS OF FOOT TRAFFIC AND NOISE COMING FROM NEXT DOOR. IF YOUR DOG IS SENSITIVE TO THOSE THINGS, PLEASE SKIP THIS WEEKEND. IF YOU DO BOOK AND PARKING IS DIFFICULT, YOURE WELCOME TO USE MY DRIVEWAY. Welcome to the coolest yard in Seattle! We have an agility course with a balance beam, an a-frame, weave poles and and a things for your dog to crawl under! Chuck It with TONS of tennis balls? Yup! Water cannons and a pool for your dogs? Check! A tug toy that you don't have to hold? Absolutely! Frisbee? We even got those! A platform for pictures? Why not! We've even got a shade tent for your pup! A bucket of sticks? If your dog is into that kinda thing! For the people? A cool and shaded patio with chairs and a table under the gorgeous trees in our yard! You're welcome to walk in the pool or climb the agility course 🤣 This backyard is made for the dogs! It's a quarter acre and completely fenced around the perimeter. If my Malinois can't escape, I doubt your dog can 🤣 There is one neighbor dog but he's very quiet and doesn't bark or bother my dogs when they're out! He hasn't bothered any of the sniffspot guests either. His name is Theo and he's a good boy that might come up to the fence. Don't worry, there's no gaps for him to say hello! We're conveniently located right off Aurora, near the Costco! Our neighborhood is very quiet! There is parking available off the street in a designated spot. It's shown in the pictures. It's a rocky parking spot. We have waters, sodas and some snacks available for the humans! Just let me know before you arrive and I'll put them on the table under the shade trees. Speaking of the beautiful shade trees! Those glorious things keep that area nice and cool! There will be a small table for your belongings and a couple of chairs to sit in! On the left side of the yard, near the house, are some obnoxious blackberry bushes that keep coming back no matter what I do. I think they grow from the neighbors side. We put up a privacy screen that's done well at keeping the dogs away from that area. While you're here, my personal dogs will be kept in the master bedroom and they're quiet! We hope your dog enjoys the yard as much as mine do! **Note about the pools: they are not dumped and cleaned between guests. That would be a huge waste of resources. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible! They are skimmed and vacuumed between guests though! The vacuuming does filter in fresh water. When you arrive, there may be some dirt settled at the bottom but the dogs don't care lol
Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little hike up our mini forest..
High Rock meadow is a 2+ acre securely-fenced natural meadow, surrounded by forest. Please note that this is NOT a manicured lawn space; it is a sloping meadow with uneven footing and heavy ground cover. You can explore a network of walking trails that wind through the perimeter forest, while your dogs romp in the meadow and zoom along the trails. There is no end to sniffing material in this 2-acre playground! Again, the terrain in this spot is uneven and sloping, with some steep areas on the trails and possible muddy areas. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty moving about in this spot. Additionally, we are located in a rural neighborhood and there are times when neighbors practice shooting. This is more likely to happen on weekends, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with dogs who are distressed by loud noises. Note: I use a Facebook page to post pictures, videos, updates, periodic discount codes, etc. related to our spot. Please like or follow our page if you are interested! Search for "High Rock Meadow Sniffspot" in Facebook.
2024 UPDATE: We had to close our spot for 2 months because our iconic willow tree fell into the pasture breaking our fence. We have temporarily repaired the fencing amd planted a new young willow. There is one 12' section of fencing now that is only 4.5' tall and could be dug under by a determined dog due to poor fence tension for that section. Please beware and do not allow digging at the fenceline. Fence will be professionally repaired by the end of February. WINTER UPDATE: There is a pond in the pasture that may be frozen. The water is not deep but please exercise caution. Bring a towel as your dog may get muddy. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including long grass, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles. In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek and giant willow tree just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. Private driveway can be hard to find (follow instructions in welcome message). Construction may be occurring on site (PM with questions). *** If you are bringing a FOSTER DOG currently available for adoption please PM me for a discount code ***
Hi - my name is Jake (he/they) and live in a beautiful single family home in Cherry Hill / Capitol Hill, Seattle. The house has a beautiful fully fenced grassy back yard, with lawn care every two weeks to make sure the space stays upheld. I don’t have any pups of my own but very much a dog person! I’m a social person and love making connections. I also currently work from home and am in Nonprofit Management. The backyard is a little oasis and fully blooms in the Spring/Summer. I think you and your dogs will love the space, since there is a large area for running around and playing!
Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors... ‘chatty hosts/property owners’😉). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat, a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.
