Enjoy this beautiful rugged forest on our 100 year old Heritage Farm located on Point Fosdick near the Narrows Bridge. This working farm has orchards, crops, honeybees, livestock, children, dogs, barn cats & poultry. So it is very important that dogs are leashed and under control during the short trail walk from the farm stand parking area, past the historic barn to the gated forest sniff spot entrance. Trail is well marked with rope, arrows and signage. Approx 200 feet from parking to forest gated entrance. Follow Paw Print Pallets & Sniff Spot Signs. Property is 10 acres total with Sniff Spot space covering approx 3 rugged native forested acres and backing up to large green belt. Area is partially fenced with six foot welded wire to the south and east. No access to roadways. Partial natural barrier on north side with open forest and deep creek ravine to the west. Property backs up to protected green belt and adjoining private forested properties covering many acres of woods with abundant wildlife. IMPORTANT: Dogs must have good recall. There is abundant wildlife along the deep ravine including deer, coyote, bear, owls, hawks, eagles etc. So please use caution and ensure your pet has good recall when off leash. Keep close eye on small dogs. If visiting with children, please be sure to keep them close. South West corner has yard waste compost drop off to creek ravine, area is well marked with a log and signage. Please use only Sniff Spot gated entrance/exit, as all other cattle gates must remain closed at all times. Forested space has plenty of sun and shade with 2 human benches, dog toys, fresh hose water, bowls and a stick library, along with garbage cans and dog baggies for cleaning up after your visit. Two vehicle spaces only per visit, as 3rd space is reserved for resident farmer. Please drive slow & carefully on shared gravel easement driveway when entering and leaving farm property. The Meadow at Spadoni Hill Private Dog Park In Gig Harbor

What a perfect expanse for you and your dogs to cut loose! In our fully fenced, gently rolling meadow there is plenty of room to run, chase frisbees and balls, dip paws in the pup-pool, and sniff around for the scents of nature. For humans, there is a cozy shelter with seating, a bistro table, and the entertainment of a frisbee "goal". There's shade from a large fir, in the meadow, as well as shade from the woods, on the south side. Fencing is at least 4 feet high, all around. It has a vision-block screen, a 4.8’ top wire, plus double fencing, on the side with neighbor dogs. If the neighbor's Goldens are out, they will friendly bark, and bark. They really want to come over and play. Surrounding Area: There are two private yards (one with an enclosed, screened chicken run, and one with friendly dogs); deep woods on the South side; and an incredible mountain view, over more meadow, on the West side. Sunsets from here are awe-inspiring! Parking: There is room for two vehicles to park near the gate the Meadow. Please park only on gravel and do not drive on the lawn near the meadow. If there are more than two vehicles in your party, please park up the hill in the gravel near the large, 4-car garage. LIMIT of 4 VEHICLES per reservation, unless organized in advance with us. There are four easy-closing gates in the fence, that are generally left open for wildlife passage. We will make every effort to have the gates closed before you arrive, but know that you're responsible for seeing that all 4 gates are closed before you unleash your pups. If you bring kids, you're also responsible for keeping them in the gates :D We hope you visit soon and come back often!

2.1 acres of fully-fenced hiking heaven. As a dog owner/lover, this provides a necessary peace of mind. Pull inside the gate, and let ‘em lose! Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and secure chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended.

Pepper's Pasture in Gig Harbor

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. Extra cars/people are free, you pay per dog. The spot changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. (I haven't seen ticks but it's a good idea to keep up with flea/tick preventative meds or drops). A seasonal creek runs in winter and spring (take extra care if your dog isn't a swimmer). Towels provided for help with wetness and mud. Spigot/hose coming soon! Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees, native plants, and more. There is also a u-pick garden inside the sniffspot with seasonal flowers, herbs, and veggies, bags and snips for helping yourself, and a venmo code and cash box for payments. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys/balls and launchers, water, treats, towels, and baggies. Access: There are two driveways onto the property. Use the north entry, with the "Pepper's Pasture" sign. After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "Sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Construction/site work: we are building beside the driveway that leads to the sniffspot. If your experience is disturbed by activity at that site (it's infrequent but can be unpredictable and might be noisy), please contact me for a promo code for your next visit. This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park to the far right of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy! Welcome to Buzz’s Pup Park! 🐶 A safe and private fully fenced mini dog park for all dogs to enjoy! My husband and I curated this space to allow others who may have reactive, nervous, or shy dogs or for anyone who just wants to hang out without being around other dogs or people at crowded dog parks. This space is reserved exclusively for you during your visit to spend time with your dog, train, work on recall, or just sniff around and relax. Located on a great residential street. Enjoy the long stretch of space to play fetch or try out the jumps or cones for agility practice. Enjoy the picnic table in the shade for those warm days or to stay more dry in case of rain while your dog sniffs around. Water available in the cooler for our furry friends. Trevarci's Dog Haven, a 4-acre, private, dog park In Olympia!!!

We own two small dogs that will NOT be outside during your park time. On one side there are miniature horses and on the other side there are two dogs that are rarely outside. It is possible to see other animals during your visit, but not likely.

Very large area for dogs to run and play. Easy parking and entrance to backyard. You will have the area all to yourself. There is a table, chairs, some toys like tennis balls and a throwing thingy, a large garbage disposal bin to leave poop bags at the entrance gate. Come and enjoy our yard. The yard is fully fenced, with cinder blocks installed underground to help prevent digging out. No other animals are visible from the backyard. The porch area is gated off—please remain within the yard during your visit.

6/13 - We are closed from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for a deep cleaning of the interior. 4/24 - Our new space adjacent to the main SniffSpot is now open! Pittie Pines Playground has a separate gate, so you can choose to use either area or both together. It is fully fenced and intentionally left more natural for your pup to explore, sniff, and enjoy. You may encounter native plants, sticks, uneven ground, trails, and other natural features not found in our open play area. 4/5 - Our expansion is halfway done. The fully fenced outside play area is now 45% larger. Come rain or shine, and play or train, in or out. We have covered parking for you, 800 square feet of covered, protected, and padded play area in our pole barn, and 1200 square feet (0.3 acres) of fully fenced and shaded outdoor play connected to the barn. The SniffSpot is very private and removed from the house. The inside area and the cleared outside area have lights so you can safely play late afternoons during the winter. Our secluded property is at the end of the road, yet close to town and just off the freeway. We provide toys for you to use while here, for large and small dogs, and for dogs with disabilities. Be sure to check out our Extras (all free). The SniffSpot gate is from the original Seattle Humane Society facility.

Gorgeous property in the Capitol Forest with meandering streams, bridges, trails, and nature. Your dog should have good recall. Fencing in the front, mostly unfenced. The loooong private road has one country dog that may chase your car for a brief moment and another that takes his goat guarding very seriously so he will bark at your car for a moment. Neither are visible from the property. This property is next to a nature preserve, expect deer, rabbits, squirrels, and lots of birds. Be aware of the possibility for bears and cougars. It’s secluded here but, unfortunately, you can still hear man made noise. There’s a gun range down the road and you can occasionally get a lot of gunfire noise on some days. You will hear planes and sometimes people working on distant homes. There’s as many days where all you hear are birds, water, and the breeze. The property has a lower trail, mid trail, and upper trail and those trails have smaller trails coming off of them. There are 5 bridges. You are welcome to try to find all of them! There are also 3 (empty) bee stands…bears love honey…The 3rd stand is tricky to find! We hope you enjoy our place and please share pics!
