Bring your fur babies to this beautiful private wildlife preserve in Gerrardstown. Our private property features nature trails that lead to a 7 acre pond and private access to Back Creek. Your pups can take a swim in the pond or splash around in the beautiful crystal clear creek on the backside of the property. There are otters in the pond so be watchful that your fur babies don’t have a negative interaction with the wildlife. We only host one booking at a time so the full 20.56 acres will be yours for the time you reserve. Additionally this property has three main areas. At the base of the driveway, you will find a forested area with clearing to sit in the shade and let your pups play with the available dog toys or explore. Make your way to the back of that first main area to begin your first nature trail which leads you straight to the beautiful 7 acre pond where more seating is available. From the pond there’s another winding trail that takes you through the backside of the forest and then opens up on Back Creek. Parking: You can park at the top of the driveway, on the side of the road, or you can bring your vehicle down the driveway. For small cars it is recommended To park at the top of the driveway due to unlevel terrain. Before you leave the property: please clean up all of your dog waste and dispose of in the waste bins along with any trash. And please place the dog toys back in the bin. There is a road bordering property. If your dog is off leash he/she needs strong recall. Also, pond is very muddy, I dont recommend swimming for dogs. There are a few short trails around the property. I don't have a lot of restrictions as I probably will be at the house when you are there. I only ask that visitors do not allow animals on house property such as porches and wood walkways. We are approachable if you see us outside and encourage it. Our beloved GSD 'Samantha' passed a year ago and we miss seeing her running through the fields. Deer on property daily but they will avoid you generally with canines. If your pet has an unhinged prey drive I'd probably bag it since I border several acres of wooded property with zero containment. Thick, unmanaged forest!

We have a huge field with a platform/ramps, tug rope, agility poles, stick collection, hidden container with treats and possibly a prize toy! We host many special events for pups as well as birthday parties for your pups! I spent many years volunteering, fostering and ultimately adopting many animals from rescue non-profits over the years. Throughout all of the years I spent in animal rescues, I realized that most dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. I feel so grateful to be able to provide a space for dogs to be off leash and have the freedom to explore! Also, it is a significant bonding experience for pups and their parents to have this special time together! Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. Welcome to Country Roads Canine Training Center Freedom trial! We are a small training facility with a focus on high quality work. Our trail is partially fenced- the agility area and top trail is fully fenced with the option to visit the stream and rock trail that is undergoing fencing to become fully fenced. The top trail is next to our back yard which means you might see other dogs in the yard- however there is a divider and I am just a message away and can put the training dogs inside with some notice! "Freedom Dog Run" 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Yard In Middletown

This spot is my fully fenced-in back yard made especially for my dogs. Shady spots and sun. Lowest fence is 4 feet tall next to the neighbors and tallest is 6 feet tall next to woods. The neighbor side also has a screen fence over existing fence to keep tiny fingers and dog noses from coming through. They have small kids and a small dog.
